I’ve always wanted to be a stay at home mom.
So when I became a teacher and fell in love with my job, I had a decision to make.
After having our first child, Abby, the desire to stay home was overwhelming and the choice we had to make was obvious.
I quit my teaching job to stay home with her.
It wasn’t an easy journey.
We dealt with a ton of unexpected expenses with no way to pay them (thanks, poor planning).
Along the way, I tried my hand at several side hustles to make ends meet.
I ended up in and out of two more classrooms, quitting both soon after beginning.
I guess you could say I’m a professional quitter.
And that’s OK with me, because I’ve created my dream job, got serious about our debt (over $15k demolished so far) and are financially preparing for the future.
Now I team up with local businesses that need effective digital marketing solutions and I run this blog.
I have a sneaking suspicion that there are other people just like me who want the freedom to spend more time with their families, earn more money, save more, and kick their debt to the curb.
I’ve made the 9-5 optional. Let me show you how, too!
